- Self blood glucose monitoring instruction
- Diet/weight management
- Insulin and oral medications
- Interpretation of blood glucose patterns and making management decisions
- Exercise guidelines
- Diabetic emergencies and sick-day management
- Preventing long-term complications
- Foot care guidelines
- Stress and diabetes
