The PAMF Department of Otolaryngology is popularly known as "ENT" Ear, Nose and Throat. Its medical and surgical treatments range from removing tonsils to complex head-and-neck surgeries to excising cancerous growths or benign tumors. Audiological services include hearing tests for adults and children and other hearing services.

Common ear infections, colds and sore throats are treated by primary care physicians, with ENT specialists focusing on chronic or more difficult problems, such as inserting tubes in children's ears for repeated ear infections.
