PAMFOnline Offers New Features, Surpasses 75,000 Users
March 2007
Most PAMF patients already know about the many ways that PAMF's e-health service, PAMFOnline, makes it easier and more convenient for them to manage their health care.
Now, PAMFOnline is offering users yet another way to take advantage of the e-health service's powerful tools. Each month, PAMFOnline users will receive e-Highlights, a brief e-mail newsletter with a link to a step-by-step demonstration of a particular PAMFOnline tool, viewed as a mini-movie. Topics include how to view and graph test results, request appointments and prescriptions renewals, and much more.
PAMFOnline, which is offered to all PAMF patients, allows users to log on to a secure Web site 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world and view key portions of their PAMF electronic health record. For a minimal fee, subscribers can add online messaging that allows them to communicate electronically with their physicians in a secure setting. Recently, PAMFOnline enrollees made it clear just how useful a tool they think PAMFOnline is, as more than 75,000 patients have signed up for the service - about 44 percent of PAMF's adult primary care patient population.
