The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Fremont Center offers a fully-staffed, dedicated health care team and a wide-range of services including:

  • General obstetric and gynecologic care
  • High-risk obstetrics
  • Infertility treatments for women under age 40
  • Hormone replacement therapy in menopause
  • Minimally invasive surgery
  • Hysteroscopy
  • Laparoscopy
  • Thermal balloon ablation
  • Urogynocological services
  • Biofeedback procedures
  • Shared medical appointments
  • Imaging services, such as MRI, CT and ultrasound, on-site.
The department's proximity to primary care departments, such as internal medicine and family practice, as well as pediatrics, is also convenient for patients and their families. The department staff speaks most languages, and is prepared to serve its culturally and ethnically diverse patient population.

The Fremont Center's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has two full-time certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) on staff that not only provide alternative obstetrical care, but also annual health maintenance exams. The CNMs work in conjunction with the physicians to provide obstetric care. Having two nurse-midwives on staff allows the department to look at the patient as a whole and see how they are feeling emotionally as well as physically, to focus on women's total health.

The Fremont Center also offers birthing classes and urogynocology.
