- Adolescent Bullying: This Virginia Cooperative Extension brochure provides information for parents about bullying. It includes content on defining bullying, bullying characteristics, comparisons to non-bullying and how to help.
- Bullying: The National School Safety Center Web site provides brochures about bullying in school, including facts, discussion activities and talking with experts.
- Get Help Series: The National Center for Victims of Crime Web site provides a wide variety of topics for both general and teen issues, such as "Bullying and Harassment" for teens and "Information for Parents of Teens" for parents. It also includes pertinent information on safety plans, stalking and legal topics.
- Reach Out: This Web site for teens advocates the importance and value of talking to a counselor. The Web page about safety and violence provides fact sheets on a range of issues teenagers may confront.
- STOP Cyberbullying: The WiredKids Web site was created to inform the public about the reality of contemporary cyberbullying. It focuses on what cyberbullying is, how it works, why it exists, how to prevent it and what the law says about it. The site includes savvy Flash presentations of each topic. The pages for parents and caregivers are especially useful in enlightening parents about the issues of cyberbullying.
- What Adults Can Do: This Stop Bullying Now Web site educates parents on how to stop or prevent bullying. It includes information on cyberbullying, girls and bullying, tips sheets, news archives, family corner and collateral material. The interactive resources include a video workshop podcast.
- Youth Violence Prevention: This CDC Web site for parents provides scientific definitions of bullying, reports on youth violence and other helpful links.
