About Us

"We're Talking, Too!" is sponsored by the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) and overseen by PAMF's Adolescent Interest Group, a committee of physicians, social workers, researchers and others. Major contributors to the site include a group of teens and preteens called "SODAH" (Summer Opportunities for Developing Adolescent Health; college-aged interns; and local parents, teachers and other community members who make up a Pre-Teen Advisory Committee.

This site is geared to children between the ages of 9 and 12 and their parents.

"We're Talking, Too!" is dedicated to providing reliable health information and other resources for the preteen crowd - sometimes called "tweens." The SODAH kids provide "expert" advice and content to readers as their peers, and adults (including PAMF physicians and staff) review the material for accuracy and appropriateness.

Visitors may notice that different pages sound like they were written by different people. That's because they were! Much of our content comes from kids themselves. While PAMF edits their submissions for grammar, punctuation and accuracy, we appreciate and try to protect the unique voice that each contributor brings to this site.
