Teen People is a pretty typical teen/preteen magazine that has some interesting features. Like most other magazines of this type, it has comments on the most recent issue from readers, and most of its ads are for clothes and skin care products. It also has a new feature in which readers can text message comments or votes on different issues, as well as what they think the captions should be on some funky pictures of celebrities.

The magazine writes about embarrassing moments experienced by celebrities and readers, as well as things specific to the magazine, such as the nominees for the Teen Choice Awards (which Teen People helps organize). Every issue has an interview with the cover celebrity, usually someone who will be in the public eye at the time the magazine is being sold. For example, the magazine might feature a celebrity who has a new album or movie coming out. Some other typical features include beauty advice and a panel of boys who answer girls’ relationship questions.

I would rate this magazine 3 out of 4 because it is an enjoyable read. It is a fun way to relax and have fun reading alone or with friends.
