Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2

If you loved meeting Lena Kaligaris (Alexis Bledel), Carmen Lowell (America Ferrera), Tibby Tomko-Rollins (Amber Tamblyn) and Bridget Vreeland (Blake Lively) during their first summer of the Sisterhood, following them on their next journey is an exciting escapade. Three years after we met them in the first Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie, the girls have grown up a bit and are due for even more adventure.

Not only are the girls apart for this summer but they are also all around the world. From Bridget's archaeological dig in Turkey to Lena's trip to Greece to Tibby's New York City adventure and Carmen's journey through the world of theater, not a second of their summer is boring. The girls each have some hard times during their summer apart, but one thing that they learn from all of their struggles is the importance of friendship. Even though the girls spend most of their summer apart, they rely on each other and the sacred bond of sisterhood (and the pants).

This movie is a bit of a whirlwind if you don't already know the girls, so if you want to know what happens in the three years in between the movies, I recommend reading the original books by Ann Brashares. The books are just as fun and thrilling as the movies but if you read the books, you’ll really feel like you're part of the sisterhood.
