Amy Allen, OTR/L, received her degree in occupational therapy from San Jose State University in 2005. She completed internships at Alum Rock School District, pediatrics; County Medical Health, psychiatry; and HealthSouth, hand injury. Her board certification includes: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT).

In addition, she is Hand Therapy Certified (HTC) and is a Certified Health Care Provider in CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator). She is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and the Occupational Therapy Association of California. Professionally, she is studying meditation techniques for managing chronic pain, and is also interested in elbow injuries and movement therapy.

In her spare time, Ms. Allen enjoys dancing, hiking, painting and cooking.
