Since assuming the medical care of Stanford University athletes in the 1930s, Palo Alto Medical Foundation physicians have served as team physicians or consultants to many colleges in the area. Today, our department provides medical care for Menlo College, College of San Mateo, Cañada College and several Stanford University teams, including men's basketball. Additionally, we serve most of the local high schools, including Saint Francis, Palo Alto, Gunn, Menlo-Atherton and Menlo School.
